Amazon Web Services Creates Templates for Blockchain Applications

Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies, and governments. Amazon is known for its continuous development in technology, and it is no surprise it has also introduced a Blockchain framework.

This Blockchain framework will make use of Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric to allow users to build and manage their Blockchain powered decentralized applications (DApps).

It will give a choice between deploying a public or private EC2 instant, and so it will be easier than ever for dApp developers to create and test on a private Ethereum node before publishing into reality.

It will change the game of Blockchain being adopted, as Amazon Web Services is highly respected in the clouding field.

This announcement was made by AWS in a blog post on Thursday, April 19th.  The new Templates tools will help Blockchain applications be built promptly.

AWS chief evangelist Jeff Barr, wrote about the ease of AWS to assist companies trying to adopt Blockchain in their product or service.

“The templates create and configure all of the AWS resources needed to get you going in a robust and scalable fashion.”

Amazon last year registered cryptocurrency domains such as amazonethereum.com, amazoncryptocurrency.com, and amazoncryptocurrencies.com which showed its interest in Blockchain.

It won’t be surprising if Amazon launches their very own cryptocurrency to assist in lesser transaction fees to support their online market to help ease foreign exchange costs.

Blockchain is very useful thanks to its elimination of intermediaries such as banks leading to lower commissions and faster transactions with more security due to the record of transactions.

IBM is a competitor to Amazon in the cloud computing service. IBM too offers Blockchain solutions, and this is a sign that big IT companies are adopting the technology and understanding that Blockchain is a solution in the long run.

Even Microsoft Azure another competitor has shown early interest in Blockchain by partnering up with Ethereum startup Consensys in 2015. Google is working on a Blockchain solution for its cloud business too.

Even country’s such as Chile have announced an Ethereum Blockchain record system for the nation’s energy sector to provide a more efficient system with transparency and accuracy.

NASA known for its space travel is developing a spacecraft which uses Ethereum Blockchain technology to make decisions when flying.

There is no stopping Blockchain trying to solve problems whether they are big or small!
